Old Karen Rolled Ear Plugs

• Location- Northern Thailand near the Golden Triangle. 

• Estimated Age- 20th Century. 

• These are about 11/16" (17.5mm) 

• These are ultra unique in that they consist of rolled metal that have been soldered on both tops and sides to produce almost a sleek machined look. Normally you would see these loosely wrapped like the pieces in our collection from Myanmar. Very unique indeed! These are worn by the Karen tribe mostly now in Northern Thailand. Many younger women no longer practice ear stretching (or wearing coiled neck adornments).
