10mm Ceremonial Piercing Spear

• This is a razor-sharp steel spear, this type is used to pierce through the cheek(s), lips, etc of a Ma Song—participants in the Phuket Vegetarian Festival (Nine Emperor Gods Festival) who enter a trance state and are believed to serve as vessels for one or more deities.

• This piece would be used for piercing cheeks and lips and insertion of larger objects afterwards. 

• This spear is almost 20" long and measures about 00g (10mm) at the widest point of the spear.  This does not come with a stand.
